This is one of a twin problem - both checkmate in two - by six times US champion Pal Benkö. In the other one the black King is on j9.
Note that Qj10 fails on Kh9: of course h78Q would do the job, but in Grand Chess promotion is limited to pieces previously lost by the promoting side, and the Queen is still in play.
